so I went ahead and posted your link of Bernie's Hollywood visit in the Bernie Sanders Group. Hope that's ok.

DU has many interesting Sub GROUPS in addition to Main Sections like GD, GD-P, Good Reads, Media & Video (M & V).
You can look at a list of all the GROUPS by going to and clicking on the TAB for FORUMS & GROUPS at the Top of the Home Page, or by reading and clicking the specific LINKS listed on the LEFT SIDE of the Home Page.

Below is an *overview link for all the various groups on subjects including: Democrats, Arts & Humanities, Computers & Internet, Places: US & International, Energy/Environment, Health, People, Race & Ethnicity and many more.

DU Members can visit and read the threads posted in the groups, and also SUBSRIBE to Groups in order to join and receive Subscription Alerts when there are new posts. I think anyone can post a comment or thread in the group but am not positive about that.
The special groups for Democrats and candidates like Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and others are 'protected groups' where members can post and comment within DU standards but with a degree of freedom and protection.

If you're interested in joining a Group, take a look at the group information, esp. the link *'About this Group' at the top of the group's main page. Groups have some rules, guidelines and monitoring hosts.

You can find a list of HOSTS in each group who can be contacted with questions if needed. Subscribing to a group is fairly easy and very helpful especially if you are interested in that subject and want to receive subscription alerts for new posts. Hope this has helped, and that I haven't given TMI, too much info., or made things difficult. Feel free to reply to me if you have questions.

in "group" sections of the board. Mostly because I have no extra time than just reading the main board. I will look into the Bernie group time to time since I now know it exists.... Thank you again for explaining things to me. I appreciate it.

Especially about how income inequality is creating deathtraps like Flint.

It's really not about the rich, it's about how they are strangling our world.
