Slight edge to Obama on GOTV machine there.

the first debate Rasmussen showed a tie. So Obama gained a point.

I think I remember reading on 538 that PPP, like Rasmussen, doesn't contact cell phones.

If true, it might explain some of their less friendly poll numbers.

I live in a blue town but I believe there is a lot of enthusiasm in this state not reflected in the polls (which is why I answer all polling calls). We have a Democratic governor and some key races may end up blue. The rally I Manchester looked extremely well attended and we might all be very pleasantly surprised!

That where he moved to avoid Mass state income taxes, then back to Utah. Maybe he will self deport to Mexico roots.

And has had a bigger ground organization there since the beginning of 2012.

And a Republican was even quoted at POLITICO last week saying that Obama has the edge in NH and that the Romney campaign was becoming discouraged.

it shows a 7-point swing?

Rasmussen had them tied after the first debate, and showed Obama up a point a day before the second debate.

I'm questioning everything that looks unusual.

Also, the poll before the first debate was actually in August 12, more than two months ago.

With Rasmussen showing Obama plus 1. Both PPP and Rasmussen are robopollers. This is about GOTV there. Many people in NH might see Romney as a moderate since he was Gov of Mass.
I wonder which state is more favorable to Obama: CO, VA, or NH.

And please don't yell at PPP. They just give us the polls. Not all of them are what we like.

NH voters think Obama won debate by 8 pts, still support Romney by 1. Democrats need to accept debate this week was not a big game changer

Romney leads Obama 49-48 in Iowa as well, although Obama does have a 66/32 early vote lead there

Iowa voters think Obama won this week's debate 45/36, similar to New Hampshire, but not having a big impact on the head to head.

They're the only poll showing Romney ahead in Iowa.

Polling from present back to September 26:

NBC/WSJ/Marist +8
WeAskAmerica +3
ARG tie
Rasmussen Reports +2
WeAskAmerica +4
Des Moines Register +4
PPP (D) +7

That tells me PPP is probably a bit off. I like PPP but I suppose it is all who answers the phone. They had a terrible McCaskill poll once with her down 10.

It is probably Obama by 4 in Iowa. NH is probably tied or R by one or O by one.

I am confused that CO polled better for PPP then IA does and yet in all other polls CO polls worse then IA. Kind of head scratching but PPP robo polls. Good for what they do but robo polling has it's limits.
