Nobody should be making their decisions based on what people say in the anonymity of the Internet.

There's no way to know if people who say they support a particular candidate are actually that candidates' supporters at all. There are many, many ways to manipulate web discussions to cause divisive and toxic outcomes.

The focus should be on the people who are running for president.

We should all try to be our best selves.

Bernie has denounced those who posted toxic things while purporting to be his supporters. How much more can he DO about that, really?

not just going to one freaking march).

It's based on A strong antiracist policy and voting record throughout his career in politics(in the Eighties, an era when almost no white politicians spoke out against or worked against racism with any real passion).

It's based on being one of only two white elected officials in the whole country who endorsed and campaigned for Jesse Jackson in 1988.

It's based on speaking out passionately against apartheid.

It's based on being a person of the Left...the most passionately antiracist part of the political spectrum.

I hate to say this but someone ran a certain ad at 3am and tried to tie Obama to slum lords. I won't even start on the whole birther thing.

Not to mention DADT and DOMA. Clinton made it possible for lots of black men be incarcerated for life.

At least Bernie is trying to change that ruling. Who ever agrees with three strikes you are out is not thinking too well! Do not know you and your history here on DU but I can tell you are not progressive.

"Marriage is between a man and a Woman" ..Hillary (The Anointed one) Clinton
You get a coupon for saying that and adoring Left-Wing fans.
No difference in integrity or courage at all because when you believe Don't ask don't tell was a "Good Idea " is an added bonus.
At least she was right about Sadaam Husseins WOMD's
