Related: About this forumRomney/Ryan blasting President Obama for having no agenda for second term
Seems to me like there's a lot of stuff leftover from his first term that the Republicans in Congress have blocked/killed/bottled up that has yet to be even allowed an up-or-down vote (i.e. DREAM Act/immigration reform, American Jobs Act, etc.). I don't think that President Obama's given up on any of it. He just needs a Congress that isn't determined to see him (America) fail IMHO.

1) lower taxes on billionaires IMMEDIATELY
2) throw darts at a dartboard with all his flip-flops on it to randomly decide what else to do

(24,414 posts)He can't make good on all of his promises if he doesn't have a Congress that's basically willing to rubberstamp everything he wants to do. At the moment, the prospect of an all Republican Congress seems to be fading. I doubt it will be fully Democratically-controlled but it seems like there will at least be fewer teabaggers in the House and it looks (much more) likely that Democrats will retain the Senate, so even if he did get elected, he won't get Congress to repeal it.
So, IOW Romney is, as usual talking out of the other hole in his body
