(36,095 posts)Seriously? It's like asking nicely for law enforcement and lawyers to do their damned jobs. Isn't a conflict of interest suit supposed to be filed by some corporate lawyers? So why do you have to petition? Doesn't petitioning concede that money runs law enforcement re this particular conflict of interest issue? I just don't get what good do petitions do -- at least in this instance.

(6,096 posts)I have had several news channels on this morning and nothing is being said about these voting violations. How can this be??? Who can we contact to stop this? I read somewhere awhile back that on line petitions did little good (although I signed the petition)...so where can we find out who is going to take charge to stop this?
