1. I believe a while back someone showed a world wide poll and Obama was up by about 80+%.

If the U.S. President is world leader....you'd think the world could get at least some electoral votes....like one vote for each industrial country.

You sure you didn't misinterpret something ? Some months back his popularity was "AT" 80% which of course is different. That was confidence in HIM .
