2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumMy early voting polling place was a little tricky to find. I'm in Lewiston,
Idaho. Last time it was just at the DMV location in town. Almost everyone was going to know that location. Now it's in what's known as The Brammer Building. The street it's on actually turns into something more like an alley that runs past the fire station and police department. It's not an actual traveled street. Consequently, going by the address may be a little difficult and traffic isn't going by to see the "polling place" signs or "Brammer Building" sign.
I wouldn't declare conspiracy but it makes me wonder. The Presidential election isn't in doubt but there may be some down ballot candidates and issues Republicans are trying to protect. I thought about posting clear direction on FB but would probably end up helping more Republicans find the place, so I won't.

(1,214 posts)I wore an Obama t-shirt down there a few years ago and got a bunch of dirty looks, and a lecture by some old man. Hope Obama wins again, cause I'll make another trip to Costco w/tshirt!

(13,596 posts)I don't get a lot of crap. I saw a guy at Costco looking me over one time. He was in a wheel chair and I was too busy to talk to him. It was a look like, "you got balls to wear that buddy!" I bet he was from Moscow! LOL

(5,049 posts)Northern Idaho was one of the first places in the nation where mine workers unionized in the late 1800s. Idaho has been the home of some great Democrats including Cecil Andrus and Frank Church. John F Kennedy even made a campaign stop in Lewiston during his run for the presidency.
I hate to say this but northern Idaho became conservative when folks started moving in from the sunny south of us.
