the most ridiculous ad

I just saw, in Virginia. I think Americans for Prosperity? need to see it again to be sure.

A white middle aged woman, in an upscale kitchen, wearing upscale clothes, talking about how hard Obama's economy has been on women.

I realize the economy has been hard, on everyone. But I laughed at the setting they chose to try to make their case. It looked to me like a large Northern Virginian type home, where the recession has not hit as hard in the rest of the country due to so many government civilian, military, and contracting jobs (yes, the government is a job creator). If their target audience was families who have really been hit hard, they really missed the mark.

The aging consists of the worst gray wig I've ever seen.

I had the same reaction - lady, you're rich, who cares?

There's another one similar to this one, where a well-off woman is carrying a newborn around, talking about how hard Obama has made things. Pretty woman, pretty baby, soothing tones, but off-message.

We get an occasional ad here, anti-Romney.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen a pro-Romney ad. Which is very strange as I am in a rural Republican redneck area.
