Bernie Sanders Demands Apology From Hillary Clinton for Accusing Him of Lying

The back and forth between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton regarding campaign contributions from the oil and gas industry has reached a fever pitch.

Speaking to a packed house eastern Wisconsin, Sanders twice said Clinton owed his campaign an apology.

“We were not lying, we were telling the truth,” the presidential hopeful said after bringing up an incident yesterday in which an activist asked Clinton if she would stop taking money from the fossil fuel industry. Clinton responded aggressively and accused the Sanders' campaign of lying.

Accusing Hillary of lying is not exactly taking the high road.

The Greenpeace activist did not ask Hillary that question on behalf of the Sanders campaign. Hillary brought Bernie's campaign into it.

She just said she's sick of Sanders lying about her:

No crime was committed so there will be no investigation and no way of proving who was sent by whom. But based on what happened in NC and the general direction of the Sanders campaign I share her suspicions.

There was no reason for her to bring Bernie into it. Shows me one thing for sure,Bernie is in her head and she knows her campaign is in trouble. Not quite what she expected.

is revealing a thin-skinned and vindictive side by obsessing about an apology he's never going to get. That's not what a chief executive should get hung up on.

11. Ambused by a nice polite question. A chief executive should not go off on

someone who asked a simple question, a question that Bernie and O'Malley handled with grace and class. Considering the damage that fossil fuels are causing to our environment a Democratic candidate should be happy to answer questions about that.
