I think the Democratic establishment would prefer to run against Trump and I think that's why part of that establishment encouraged him to run

Because suprisingly people have responded with assumption (sarcsam)...

I wouldn't vote for Kasich but if the GOP managed to pull off a win, I would rather see him than Trump or Cruz. If that means I'm "on the wrong board" shrugs

and winning states--and then having that snatched away from you in favor of someone who didn't bother to run at all and waltzes in at the very end. I'm saying that for tRump and Cruz as well, loathsome as they are.

He has been making conciliatory statements, especially about his "makers" and "takers" analysis from last election.
