Bernie's #1 Priority: To get NY Dems to see him as someone who will kick Donald Trump's butt!

I suspect that a good chunk of New Yorkers still voting for Hillary are only doing so because Bernie hasn't been "vetted", and they're afraid he would lose to Donald Trump in the fall. These voters are only going with Hillary because she's viewed as the safer choice. I'm focusing in on New Yorkers because it's a big state where he's not expected to win, and plus, since ALL the major candidates have ties to New York this year, winning NY is all the more important.

If Bernie can give New Yorkers reasons why he will kick Donald Trump's butt in the general election, that would embolden these voters to vote for who they truly want.

The best way he can do this??? Forget Hillary and start campaigning hard against Donald Trump, like he's already the Democratic nominee. Bernie ought to start doing so immediately. It will seal the deal with many voters, and push him over the top.

how Bernie is unelectable in the general and unvetted. It's a liitle late to act as if we're the ones all of a sudden inventing and harping on this point.

I trust Bernie and his campaign experts know best.

I firmly believe Bernie is the only one that can beat Trump and his ideology and appeal. The others use the wrong strategies, they only end up in the mud with him - and they don't have anything else.

I'm looking forward to it.

I agree with you on how NYers may want to see this. However he must fight back against the smears and lies that Clinton pushes out there. Some people eat that crap up.
