Gallup GOP tracking: Romney 31 Santorum 29

Feb 21-25, 2012

Romney 31% +1
Santorum 29% -2
Gingrich 15% -1
Paul 11% -
Other 3% -

=========

Santorum had been in the lead for about the last 2 weeks. Clearly the momentum has shifted. I suspect mostly due to the extreme/dumb statements Santorum has been making recently.

They could turn it around but this clown show looks like it could continue for quite some time and it also looks like permanent damage has been done to whoever the candidate is.

He will start losing support from some mainstream Republicans and who knows where it could go from there.

could have been someone he wasn't ..he might still be leading.

That college remark, really probably made people think the guy's nuts.

You are right, they don't like Santorum, but they don't like Romney either. Basically, they
like no one.

Obama's staff better start doing lots of opposition research on Christie, Daniels, and
Rubio. Don't think Jeb would ever be the one. Not enough time has passed for
people to forget how bad and stupid his brother was.

that should appear in polls in the next few days. Certainly not with Independents (or Democrats, of course), but I get the impression that many Republicans are OK, in retrospect, with JFK.

They are looking into a mirror and seeing themselves. The nutty religious side in ricky and the saying anything to get elected, payed for by their rich masters side in mitt. Self hate on display.
