Mon May 16, 2016, 02:28 AM
May 2016

Hey it's like Ring Of Fire or The Young Turks. Except it's probably in the tank for Hillary. My guess it's one of hundreds of opposition research writers and bloggers that write news stories to either promote or demote a candidate of their interest. For less than a $100 bucks I could put up 10 blogs in a day. But I would need a team to manage these sites. All of these political candidates hire PR teams to do it for them. And they get paid sometime millions per yer to do their job. So every time you try to prove a point about your candidate and you send me a link from one of these sites...I just say so and go find the another site that counters it. Since nine times out of ten I lived through the point your trying inform me about I know a spin when I see it. There are also a lot of individuals that put up hit pieces because it is what they believe. Nowadays anyone can get seen and heard for next to nothing.

It doesn't matter if it's a million dollar blog like the Huffington Post or report from an 8th grade Jr. High school student.....Facts are facts.

What's funny is if you don't understand this you are only led to a web of blogs these bloggers steer you to. They know what keywords to use and build their blogs upon. And if it's on Facebook you're own algorhythms steer you to what you want to see.

There is a reason why most millennials are in the tank for Bernie. Those under 30 get most of their info from the internet since they don't have personal experience to filter it.

If you are making a statement about a candidate and can't back it up with CSPAN then it may be spin. If it's news everyone already knows..and it would probably be in a text book or Wikipedia..If it is personal books , news editorials..well that's still opinion and spin. There is enough information out there so that you don't end up believing what you see....You see what you believe. Even mainstream media news....not editorials has to be a little bias because most of the reporters don't have my experience so they can't tell me about me. Since half the time I have been around me 10 and 20 years before many of them were born. That is even more so if they are of the Caucasian persuasion. I know I don't speak for all Black people..we have too many shades to be monolithic..but you gotta admit.....Hillary seems to be killing Bernie with the black vote. Do you really think it's because the majority of us are uninformed? REALLY?

I do not know who this troll is but he most certainly not Bill Palmer. I am the real Bill Palmer but some of you may know me as David Brock. I run Daily News Bin, Blue Nation Review, Correct the Record and Media Matters. What are your credentials fake Bill Palmer? Yes I made these sites to help Hillary campaign for president and yes I hid the ownership why do you think I made it in the summer of 2015. There is nothing you can do about it now Hillary won and Bernie lost. Don't forget to vote in November you don't want Trump to win. I think the real Bill Palmer would know that he purchased a service to obfuscate who really runs his own website which is housed in Arizona. I have the contract with GoDaddy and charge on my credit card to prove it. I demand you apologize and stop masquerading as me a true liberal hero. You are trying to make me sound like some kind of lunatic that knows nothing about his own website and putting sarcastic quotes around things is what 12 year olds do on 4chan not professional writers.

5. "Daily News Bin is a real news outlet. We are absolutely not a 'satire' or 'fake news' site."
Sun Apr 3, 2016, 06:26 PM
Apr 2016
Hi, I’m Bill Palmer and I’m the editor and owner of Daily News Bin. We’ve been publishing since August of 2015. Despite being fairly new, we’ve had the good fortune to find a large audience rather quickly. Our reporting has been used as source material by everyone from CNN to CBS News to the Mayor of a major American city. And for reasons I still haven’t been able to pin down, an internet troll has spent months obsessively spreading the bizarre false claim across various social networks that we are a “satire” or “fake news” site, in the hope of scaring people away from reading our content. But it’s simply not true.

Although Facebook has finally banned the troll in question, I’ve been made aware that his behavior has left some people legitimately confused. So I want to make clear once and for all: not a single article on Daily News Bin is “satire” or “fake” news. Like most of you, I have a very low opinion of the sites which simply publish fake news stories that sound true in the hopes of misleading people. Such behavior is dishonest, it’s crass, and it causes people to be less knowledgeable about the topic at hand. Politics is simply too important for that kind of dumbing-down to be allowed to happen.

We include as many supporting links to other news outlets as possible, hyperlinked in bold clickable text, in order to help make it easier for you to independently confirm that our stories are accurate. After all, our reputation is all we have. I do not pretend to know the motivation of the individual who has seemingly spent months of his life scouring social networks for posts about our articles, so he can follow them up with comments like “Don’t click, it’s a fake story.” I do know that as a result, some individuals have reached out to me in honest confusion.

When they do, I ask them to look over our articles for themselves so they can see that we are clearly a real news outlet. If you’ve landed on this page because you’ve been left confused yourself, I’ll simply ask you to do the same. We believe our content speaks for itself. Thanks for taking the time to read, and we look forward to continuing to deliver you the news going forward.

Sun Apr 3, 2016, 06:35 PM
Apr 2016
http://beingbutmen.blogspot.com/2015/11/today-tim-martyn-from-web-site-daily.html

...No one knows who owns the domain, because it was registered secretly using the company Domains By Proxy. Rather obviously, Daily News Bin has something to hide. Daily News Bin claims to be run by Bill Palmer, its "Senior Editor". There is, apparently, a "Bill Palmer". He's written all of two articles for BeatWeek, a music magazine. He claims to be the magazine's editor-in-chief, but if you go to BeatWeek's Web site and try to verify that -- you discover that the "About" page is an attack-page full of viruses that attempts to take over your computer. In fact, that's true of almost every page on BeatWeek's Web site, except for their "Contact Us" page.

There are four "reporters" at Daily News Bin: Cara Harris, Tim Martyn, Christy Bishop Cricow, Reggie Smith, and Anita Finlay Harris, Martyn, and Smith seem not to exist. The only "Christy Bishop Cricow" I can find with a Google search is an interior designer and sticker manufacturer who lives in Eugene, Oregon. Anita Finlay Harris is a real person, who hold right-wing/libertarian views (she's a regular contributor to the right-wing The Jerry Doyle Show, the right-wing Americans Talk Radio Network, the right-wing Midpoint With Ed Berliner, the right-wing Talk Radio Network, and more). But if you search Daily News Bin for anything she's written, nothing comes up. Nor does a Google search of her name and Daily News Bin.

If you read the articles on Daily News Bin, it's clear the site is a poorly written pro-Hillary Clinton site. It does nothing but promote Hillary Clinton. It talks as if Hillary Clinton already won the Democratic nomination for president. Now, Daily News Bin pretends to have Tech, Music, and Entertainment sections. But if you go to them, you discover them either empty or full of pro-Hillary Clinton articles.

I'm all for political Web sites. But this is a joke. It's so poorly done, I'm shocked anyone believes it....

And if you click around the rest of his little blogspot page, you see it's full of porn images.

In other words, when it comes to the lowlifes spreading ridiculous lies about Daily News Bin, it's so poorly done I'm shocked anyone believes it...

Bill Palmer - Editor and Founder. There's no record anywhere of any "journalist" named Bill Palmer ever writing for any news organization. Nothing other than Dustbin (thanks choie). He (as journalist) basically doesn't exist.

Christy Bishop Cricow Political Writer - Ditto. Although there is an interior decorator on FB called Christy Bishop Cricow.

Patrik Herilka - Political Writer - Ditto. Although there is a Patrik Herilka that is Actor/Writer/Comedian living in NYC.

Carl LaFlamme - Political Writer - HE EXISTS!!!! He has a podcast. Can't find any writings other than Dustbin.

Jack Wibbe - Political Writer - well this one is tough. There is a Jack Wibbe who says he has "six scripts ready to go" so he must think he is some kind of screenwriter although he hasn't turned any of them into anything. Wibbe also had a play reading in Baltimore. Not sure if this is the same Jack Wibbe from Dustbin but there's no writings by Wibbe anywhere other than -- you guessed it -- Dustbin.

Pamela Munson - Political Writer - see Palmer, Bishop Cricow etc. No writings other than Dustbin. There is a mortgage broker named Pamela Munson.

Elaine Pratt Pils - Political Writer - see above.

So . . . you can tell they are a cracker-jack investigative news organization filled with Pulitizer Prize winning journalists!

No wonder the Clintonites love posting links to it!

The commenter (ME!) is so glad you had a good laugh. I aim to please.

And if you actually are Bill Palmer . . . well reading comprehension should be a requirement for someone who runs the Daily Dust Bin. I clicked on all your links by the way. My research may not be as in-depth as your fine articles - but it's sufficient. First clue - I never said you were a real person. I assume you exist in some fashion. What I said is you are not a real journalist and have no published articles anywhere but in the Daily Garbage Bin. Same for all your other political reporters. Yes you have a social presence on twiter. Second clue - having a twitter account doesn't make you a journalist. Third clue - anyone can have a Facebook page. Doesn't make you a journalist.

4th Clue - Repeating in case you missed it the first time. Didn't say your "political writers" don't exist. Said they aren't journalists or writers with any journalistic standing. And for the record, I did admit that Carl has a podcast and Patrik appears to be some kind of comedian/actor guy.

But so lovely to see you here . . . and thanks for playing!

Not one of their FB pages state that they are DNB writers or writers at all. They all have other professions or are retired. A couple of them have "Liked" the DNB page.
I found it very interesting that the one common denominator amongst them is that they all belong to multiple Pro-Hillary and Hillary for Pres 2016 groups.
So I guess it's true that these writers exist and this explains the poor writing and the accusations that this site was set up in the summer of last year in order to promote Hillary's campaign. That's all DNB is.

Mon Apr 11, 2016, 11:54 PM
Apr 2016

Hi I'm Bill Palmer, the owner and publisher of Daily News Bin. I'm happy to address the questions posed by the original poster.

I started this site last year. I own it, and I do the bulk of the writing and research. Some freelancers also contribute. For whatever reason, we've become very popular. Our readers praise us specifically for our accuracy and insistence on getting the facts right, regardless of whether of whether it fits with trendy narratives or not. And then there are the small number of individuals who appear to have devoted their lives to making up fantastically nonsensical lies about us for no clear reason.

If I had several hours, I could dispel every asinine lie posted about me and Daily News Bin in this thread. But suffice it to say that these silly conspiracy theories are obviously false. First these trolls were claiming we were "secretly based on Panama" and now they're instead posting some fake address for us in Arizona. Well which one is it?

More recently they've begun consistently claiming that Chelsea Clinton is secretly running our website. These individuals can't seem to get their lies straight. On some days they spread crazy false information about the music news site I've been running for the past decade; on other days they claim they can't find any evidence that I've written for any other site. Again, which lie do they want to stick with?

They also claim that me and my staff don't exist, even as they simultaneously post vulgar threats on the personal social media pages of me and my staff. They hate-stalk us enough to certainly know that we exist, yet they keep claiming we're not real. Again, they can't keep their asinine lies straight long enough to sound coherent.

I don't know where they get this ridiculous false information from; I assume they make it up to discredit us. Clearly they don't like some of our content. But if they thought our content had any legitimate flaws, they'd hit us with tha,t instead of jumping straight to making up absurd nonsense about us and claiming we're secretly in Panama

Is the Daily News Bin reliable? Yes. Our reporting has been used as a source for a CNN story. Our articles have been shared by everyone from congressional candidates to popular political pundits, who say they respect us. You're all welcome to form your own opinion. But the lowlifes who sit around all day spreading libelous cartoonish nonsense about us should be thoroughly embarrassed by their own behavior. It's a childlike attempt to distract from the good work we're doing. Anyone with actual concerns is always welcome to reach out to me directly. Despite the nonstop claims by trolls that I somehow don't exist, everyone knows I'm easy to reach.

There has been so much nonsensical garbage spread about Daily News Bin, I've put together a more thorough point-by-point dismantling of the most popular lies about us:

Bill Palmer, quit trying to act like you're a legit news site. Daily News Bin is a turd tray created just before the primary season for the sole purpose to spin "news" in a pro Clinton fashion. That's all. Nothing more. Go to Daily News Bin and you get ground breaking "journalism" such as this:
