(827 posts)Yet during primary it was all about Romney's "core". "What does he really believe?"
Yet today, it's all "he did what he had to do" which was "reassure he was not dangerous"
Ummm hello, if I can't tell what you would do as Commander in Chief that's called being dangerous...

(61,695 posts)Joe Scarborough was dissing on RMoney. Now he's carrying water for him? I guess either the RNC or MSNBC has Joe by the huevos.

(1,364 posts)And there was Joe Dead Intern Scum pontificating with Steele, Has-Been Brokaw and Halperin. Couldn't change the channel fast enough over to Current TV with Bill Price and some sanity.

(541 posts)The package that includes it is pricey though. I might consider downgrading after the election. Hate to do that though. I'm not going back to Joe.

(45,319 posts)his job is that of Republican commentator. They don't have to have him 'by the huevos' to get him to do what he does, always did, always will do. He does not 'carry water' for Republicans, he IS a Republican. His goal is President Bishop Money Boo Boo.
He's being himself.

(4 posts)For Romney...geez...we can call him a chameleon, but for people who don't follow politics they won't know that, and Romney looked even-handed, polite, and smart...if he'd would've popped off on our man, it would have helped us more than what we saw last night...it looked like Romney was far in the lead from their body language...crud!

(9,385 posts)is if he had puked on the table and left the stage. With all the sweating and what-not, he seemed like he came close to that.
And his antics afterward almost falling OFF the stage were sooooo "presidential" too. (NOT, of course)
Yeah, that was a stellar performance alright.

(2,522 posts)qualifies as "far in the lead", then you have a point. Also I must note that he did lead in face sweating--man looked greasy.

(1,437 posts)Romney was so decisive in the debate last night. It was nice to see him finally lay out his policies in such a clear, even-handed manner and prove that he could be the Commander in Chief. His grasp of foreign policy was amazing, he was articulate, firm, decisive, and in full command of the debate. Anyone watching would barely notice the guy sitting next to him.
Oh, wait. That was OBAMA I described. Sorry.

(2,795 posts)His upper lip was sweaty. The camera man did him a favor by not showing him swabbing his lip with his handkerchief.
At one point on the split screen, Romney was licking his lips and swallowing really hard kind of the way my dog looks right before he's going to puke. I was just hoping it wouldn't be in Obama's lap.
Anyone who thought Romney did better than Obama most likely supports Romney in the first place.

Oops...actually, Romney is a dumb fuck in addition to being an entitled plutocrat.
Allow me to summarize simply by saying enjoy your stay!

(19,095 posts)This was just as sound of a beating as the 1st debate was in favor of Mittens, if not more so. It was the next few days that built Mitten's debate win into something it wasn't, it took on a life of its own. Time to do the same for this thrashing.
Romney did not look capable of being Commander in Chief!
