IS the media in the tank for romney?

it appears to me they had already decided before the debate what they were going to say this morning no matter what happened. to me it was obvious who should be commander in chief, and it was Obama.

I have a feeling that Romney (and teabaggers) are going to go to bed very depressed on 11/06/12

YES, they are and have been for a long time. They are really carrying water for Romney, almost a whole tub, and that is sad. After this election I will stop watching every news show except MSNBC in the evenings and Soledad in the mornings. If Romney is elected, with his lack of knowledge and understanding of foreign policy, and starts a war, these folks will have themselves to thank for it. I am glad my two nephews are not re-enlisting this time, both have fought in Iraq and Afganistan, and my brother is adamant about them not going back, and now with the chance of Romney becoming President, so am I. This guy is a joke, a liar, and a double dealing fraud, and this is what a lot of people seem to want in this country...another four years of Bush. I am so afraid for this Nation, so afraid.

on NPRR this morning they spun it like crazy. Obama was so weak in the first debate, but last night Romney was calm and acting like a man who was confident that he would win.

almost drove my car into a tree. not really but i could have. i did scream AAAAARGH.

they're getting so bad i expect it but for some strange reason it still pisses me off. i listen to my music a lot these days.

They don't even have the grace to wipe off their chins before they go on camera.

In absolutely EVERY instance, the "bar" for the MittWit is set at ground level while Obama is required to leap tall buildings with a single bound .... AND get the "style points"!!! (Amazingly enough, he's been up to the challenge!)

The "soft bigotry of low expectations" is nothing compared to the 'legacy' entitlements of the Ruling Class. There has been a fundamental presumption underlying every talking head's rhetoric and every op-ed: the MittWit is ONLY required to avoid DISQUALIFYING himself while Obama is held to a standard that neither Lincoln nor FDR could meet.

From my own perspective, the WORST 'feature' of this election season is that there hasn't been a single viable alternative IDEA that's come from the right wing. Not one. As an independent, I expect and demand that the dialectic of an election gives birth to perspectives of increased value and viability. This 'season' has been an utter failure. The media, imho, is more culpable than any other sector of our society.
