Pope Francis will visit Greece on April 14-15 and plans to visit the island of Lesbos which is at the forefront of Europe's refugee crisis, a government official said on Tuesday.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, spiritual leader of the Greek Orthodox Church, would also be present, the official said.
