Seth MacFarlane tells Bernie fans to stop bashing Hillary over trivial crap – they’re helping Trump

Comedian Seth MacFarlane is a Bernie Sanders supporter — but not unconditionally.

MacFarlane, perhaps best known as a voice actor and creator of “Family Guy,” gave an interview on the Jason Rantz Show, according to MyNorthwest. MacFarlane said he believes the Vermont senator’s supporters have been unfair to his rival, Hillary Clinton.

“I actually am one of the people who has been a little disappointed at the way that, not necessarily the campaign, the supporters of the campaign have treated Hillary,” he told Rantz. “I think she’s been treated a little harshly by the left.”

Their campaign is so transparent it's quite amusing. They lie and distort at almost every opportunity. Sad thing is that this probably worked before the Internet.

How were the people of Iraq treated? Why can't we see how she talks about us peons in her transcripts? Seth, just make your cartoons that I never watch. We'll decide how harsh to get. He's one of the 1% so he has NOTHING to lose. I know he supports Bernie, but his life will be the same no matter who wins.

I think he's very bright, creative and funny, but he can bite my fat, middle-aged ass over this issue.

Tell him to spend 5 minutes here and he will see which candidate's supporters are bashing which candidate with thread after thread of (transparently fake) concern for his physical and mental well-being, distorted half-truths, dizzying spins and out right lies.

:::hint: it isn't Bernie's supporters:::

The fault lies with those on the left that won't shut up and fall behind Hillary and for Sanders (a candidate on a winning streak no less) for not stepping down.

Because of that, Hillary can't make a hard shift to the right and focus on winning the GE. And, I say to that: boohoo! Sanders is kicking butt in the primaries and is actually worrying Hillary's camp.

people disagreeing with one thing he says does not get him under the bus, or on my bus which is heading for a cliff.

But don't worry, its a big fucking bus. If we need to throw people under there, there will be room. Do try not to get all excited because one statement someone says is taken as bullshit. Your bus must be pretty big too, seems that 99% if the American people are under it. We don't bother to get excited when a new face joins us under there. We are under there busy taking your campaign apart and changing the oil.

out against the sexist and vile comments and Tweets from Clinton supporters towards Jane Sanders?

Clinton deserves harsh criticisms for her policies, positions, and political philosophy. Is it ok for Clinton supporters to call Jane Sanders fat, ugly, and old?

Yeah, I will not hold my breath waiting for your two-faced ass to go after that side for the real bashing.

She needs to lose this primary election and her minions need to stop bashing Sanders over made up crap. Protect the eventual nominee: Sanders. Allow Clinton to retire with her big bank money.

For me, a Sanders supporter there are 3 things that make me support Sanders over Hillary:

1 Hawkish foreign policy and Iraq War vote.

2 Closeness to Wall Street and taking a lot of money from really wealthy people.

3 Going really small and incremental on anything to help the little guy due to cost but not doing the same with military force or defense budget.

We see these polls where Sanders is actually outpolling her against the GOP candidates and his wins in open primaries and it makes you think it's when you throw the independents in the mix.

So it seems like at this point that there's a large number of independents who would vote for Sanders that at this point won't vote for Clinton.

At least partially it's an issue of trust so if we keep hitting Clinton on stupid stuff or wild conspiracy stuff does that make it even harder to get the independents who seemingly will not vote for her??

So that's where what he is saying rings true to me.

On the other hand can she ever pick up those voters? Hard to know.

Also like the Jerimiah Wright thing with Obama is it better for Hillary to counter some of this stuff now and have it be old hat by the general and therefore neutralize it? I'd think Sanders has been far easier on her than any republican would be.
