I think we are going to be snowed with polls daily for the next two weeks.

I agree that fractions of a percent do not mean anything, but rounding creates a momentum that does not exist.

Two respondents out of nearly 1,400 can turn a 49-48 deficit into a 49-48 advantage.

I never realized that either, but when you look at it that way, it really does show how little polls matter in anything except creating narrative.

Large moves can be hidden by rounding... Especially in rolling average polls with long cycles.

Dems are fired up and voting in mass. And when that's the only number that's going to matter, polls really lose all meaning.
