That it takes these pollsters TIME to compile the data that they have? Even with a magical computer, it takes time to sift through the data and come up with results. These are corporations, and there are a lot of empty suits, aka managers, to run the data by. Today's polls are not from people who watched the debate last night.
You will have to wait at LEAST a week for anything from last night to start showing up in the polls.

or at least I wasn't. I was just commenting on the fact that you wouldn't expect the model to move much without any new information.

There were no specifics in the OP, and with all the concern trolls here, I didn't know. I guess it's my bad, but hey, how was I supposed to know if there was no specifics that movement was unexpected without new information, especially information from last night.

I just know that there are people here who get all kinds of concerned if, after an event, the polls don't change IMMEDIATELY!

now I see exactly where you are coming from. I guess I am glass half full right now. If nothing changes, Obama wins, so I am feeling good about things that say "no change".
