After Romney's Worst Debate, Right Wing Still Pushes Meme of Romentum!

It would be funny if it were not such a lie. Romney gets a huge ass kicking in the third debate, his worst of the three, and Republicans immediately starts singing from the same talking point playbook that he has Romentum!

I guess if they keep on saying it, the media will continue to report it, and Republicans might actually be motivated to vote for him. Of course, if the truth gets out that Romney is a serial liar, as well as a foreign policy lightweight, Republicans won't bother to show up to the polls. Thus, is born the talking point of Romentum.

Of course they do. They're still hopeful they'll pickup (or at least retain) House & Senate seats... Journeyman Oct 2012 #1

And as you say, if their Party doesn't see their Candidate as having a chance, or perceives he's weak in any manner, their voters will stay home and their chances for down-ballot wins will diminish. So I'm not surprised they continue to push an obviously blatant lie. I just hope they're unsuccessful.

Queen Ann and Mittfalca were over acting the happy-after-debate moments, to push their "our polls have us secretly winning and we have ALL this momentum" spin. THAT'S why it looked so bizarre and came off as unnatural . . . because it was.
