2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumOnce the Fact Ads hit (fact ads not attack ads) Clinton's unfavorables will go through the roof.
The media has been silent on exposing the facts that will be used to beat Clinton in the general election. Once, the fact ads start, Clintons unfavorables are going to go even higher. And the percentage of people who think she can handle foreign policy, etc. will plummet.
Obviously, the Clintonites must think the same since they are so hell bent on the fact ads being stopped in the primary.
When it is all said and done, I think her unfavorables will end up higher than Trumps.

(3,040 posts)That's why Clinton touts herself as being tough but can't take Sanders tone. If she gets in the GE, the crap will fly so fast and furious that even die hard Democrats will start to doubt her. The Republicans don't even pretend to care about facts anymore. All the scandals (both real and imagined) will be spewed and reported as facts by all major MSM. She is doomed.
As a Bernie supporter, that fact really worries me because she is not a strong candidate when the other side has no problem lying and be vile.

(786 posts)Record and The Clinton Foundation. Why wait for a possible Bernie Sander loss in the primary only to have all of the Democrats and this country led to slaughter? It is really doing this country a disservice.

(5,761 posts)Her record is awful. All one has to do is YouTube things and it is quite clear. She isn't progressive and constantly changes her mind. Sand castle integrity is a recipe for disaster in a general.

And frankly, a lot of the facts that Bernie uses to attack Hillary won't be used by the Republicans -- her Iraq vote, her wealth, any negative race remarks, etc. They will do their best to paint her to the left of Bernie, while at the same time continuing to use trolls to persuade the young and impressionable not to vote for Hillary under any circumstance.
