Unbiased fact: A Hillary presidency would cost us control of congress for a decade.

If she wins the presidential election in spite of her lofty negatives, it would only be because the republican nominee was too vile to contemplate.

Then in the 2018 midterms, with her status quo presidency and the republicans feasting on revelations about the Clinton Foundation, her negatives are through the roof. The republicans gain a near record number of house seats and a sizeable majority in the Senate. A rout of near historic proportions.

If Hillary wins the nomination you should vote for her in the 2016 general election.

If you still don't like her four years from now then you can vote against her in the 2020 Democratic Primaries.

And if Hillary wins the White House her popularity will fluctuate throughout her presidency, just like with every other president. And if you are thinking that Hillary is somehow different, bear in mind that Hillary is the ultimate example of a politician whose popularity has fluctuated wildly throughout her career. Her numbers were through the roof when she was Secretary of State.

Hillary doesn't have a better chance of dealing with a Republican congress to be the "progressive that gets things done", she'll move to the right (mostly on economic issues) if she has too to get things done. Thinking she will be better prepared to deal with a Republican congress is hogwash.

I am asking that question literally, please cite me a person who literally asked for unicorns.

Because if you are not actually talking about unicorns but are instead dismissing issues that are seriously important to people as unicorns then maybe you should ask yourself how you can expect those people to vote for your candidate.

People like you who don't listen to potential voters and dismiss people's concerns as if they were fantasy are a big part of the reason people don't show up to vote.

And before you ask, yes I did vote in every election since I turned 18 but I am also able to understand why so many people are turned off from Democrats when I see the type of arrogance you just demonstrated.

It is the first time we have health care and something to build on. Obamacare is not perfect, but it has helped millions of people and there is no alternative that can get though congress.
