Related: About this forumHillary wins in the high income brackets. Why?
Even in the states she lost in, Hillary only won in the above $200,000 per year brackets.
Ask yourself why.
Then ask: Is she actually on MY side?

(29,257 posts)I call bullshit.
Do you think a net worth of 1 million for a man of his age that has been a senator that long is in ANY WAY comparable to the twns of millions that the Clintons are worth?
That would be like saying earning $8 dollars an hour is basically the same as earning $160 dollars an hour.

(15,189 posts)I wonder what happened.
Maybe she made them promises on their taxes. I doubt those that make $200,000 a year get the same e-mails as the rest of the peons.

Do you have any idea how most people live???

(1,772 posts)most kids in private equity, investment banking, hedge funds, etc. hit $200k a few years out of college.
In the Bay Area, $200k is entry level for hot fields e.g. machine learning, data science, biotech, etc.
Lawyers, doctors, hit $200k fairly quickly in their career as well.

While a six-figure starting salary might be common for someone coming straight out of a doctoral program, data scientists with just two years' experience can earn between $200,000 and $300,000 a year, according to recruiters.

(587 posts)...so one reasonable hypothesis is that the people who prefer Clinton tend to be more intelligent. Perhaps intelligent enough to realize Bernie's promises are pure pandering, and that he represents trillions in tax increases.
