Last edited Thu Apr 14, 2016, 05:49 PM - Edit history (2)

Paul Krugman wrote numerous caustically critical articles about President Obama. Here are just a few samples:

Which is a shame, but that's the path he's chosen.

4. I agree but it's not all his fault. The President of the USofA isn't the most powerful in the world

He answers to a higher power. The NSA/CIA Dark State has more power. They tell him where to stand.

I’m not the first to point out that the Obama campaign seems dangerously close to becoming a cult of personality. We’ve already had that from the Bush administration — remember Operation Flight Suit? We really don’t want to go there again.

He got well and truly raked over the coals by many of the same crew who are now his greatest fans.

6. So Krugman thinks Obama is too conservative

A couple of years ago he was on Bill Moyers' show speaking in glowing terms about a book on the crisis of income inequality.

And he supports Hillary Clinton, who is more conservative than Obama, over Bernie Sanders. And not by a close call; he's trashing Bernie on a regular basis.

Krugman is a partisan hack.

It's hard to look past $$$ like that. If our resident cheerleaders are not lying like rugs, they are also being paid well to defend the indefensible.

Ideologues finding fault with a Pragmatist who uses reason in assessing a situation.

The fact Sanders can't explain in any depth to an editorial board how he'll implement his agenda shows he's not up to being POTUS.

All he can do is give angry speeches and promise free stuff.

I'm not a great fan of Clinton but the choice between her and an empty suit like Sanders is clear.

In the end, this thread proves who the Ideologues are on DU and why they are so attracted to an Ideologue like Sanders.

but still no excuse for sloppiness;

nevertheless, the point remains valid, namely, that PK has penned many a negative column about Obama.

Here's one I've substituted for the sarcastic one:
