Yes, we all do, but civilized people get past that. Nt Logical Apr 2016 #3
Pretty easy to oppose it in reality. It's useless and vile. johnnyrocket Apr 2016 #6

But once in a while someone does something that makes me think that *censored* needs to die.

That poster couldn't run a poll, and I find myself interested in this because we fall all over the map here at DU on the DP. So I decided to set it up that way.

But if a person is sentenced to death and they are indeed guilty, then so be it.

isn't there something called "The Ten Commandments" which are supposed to be absolute rules? And isn't one of those rules something about not killing? Please show me the fine print.

I am totally opposed to the death penalty, and I might add that most countries, especially almost all first world countries, get along quite well without a death penalty. Why (you supporters of legalized murder) do you suppose they manage that way?

When you say "It Depends", I'm not sure what you mean.

What is the opposite of "It Depends", "Execute Everybody"?

My father supports it if there is a smoking gun/irrefutable proof that the person is guilty but not in cases based on circumstantial evidence. Sorry.
