2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIt's really bad when you can watch the paid media hacks and see the latest manipulations they are
engaging in to promote their corporate candidate. It's so scripted that it doesn't take much to see where it will lead. If you pay attention, you can see the roll outs of the staged events as they occur (and can pretty much guess what will be in the next episode).
Smoke and mirrors.
And on top of that to see a well versed Bernie supporter asked a question to which they can hit a home run and the corporate media hack hosting the show cutting away real quick so the question goes unanswered and smiles, you realize there is no lengths to which they will not stoop to keep their corporate job. Journalistic integrity be damned.
As Dick Van Dyke said, it is propaganda and Ted Turner never realized what he was starting.
Update: A part of it has already rolled out as expected. It's like watching a movie where the plot is oh so predictable. But then again, these aren't the brightest tools in the shed.

(5,946 posts)1. there is the the corporation official view many are forced to take these networks are not owned by tooth fairies after all
2. people are influenced by the people they have around them, when they get rich many of their friends are other rich people, not all rich people are alike but if you hang out almost exclusively with the rich it affects your mindset. I think I trust the people who get out into the street more. As I moved up the corporate ladder, I found many people left their other friends by the wayside because other connections needed attention. I was lucky to be involved with a group that was weirdly egalitarian with people from all walks of life, even though over time it got cliquey.
3. some people are betting on a horse because they want another job, heh,
