A great framing.
Bird's eye view. Sorry, DU won't display.

Do they even exist?

(2,760 posts)Sounds like a much more democratic system. No one could ever manipulate that.

(2,178 posts)If she were to run the System like she runs her Campaign, we could call her Junior in a dress.
It just shows that people without Money have no place in her World View.

(40,416 posts)It is like the Hillary supporters going all apoplectic over a little finch. And then over a Vatican invite. Nobody has to take those reactions seriously. They deserve only ridicule.
And while Hillary still holds campaign rallies behind closed doors -- pay-to-play -- folks have the audacity to criticize Bernie because he draws crowds. How fucking childish!
Hillary Clinton is the worst politician that I've seen in my long life. If she wins the nomination, I fear for us all. I've never known a more corrupt and two-faced politician.

(20,411 posts)interesting analysis . . . Bernie-math?

(40,416 posts)It's about the delegates, not the votes. So you can stop ringing that cockamamie bell.
And yes, Hillary is ahead in pledged delegates, the only ones that matter at this time.
But while Hillary holds her private campaign stops for those rich folks who can pay for her corporately-funded campaign, Bernie is taking his campaign to the people.
That is why I find Hillary Clinton to be the worst candidate of my life. It is a matter of vision. Bernie has it; all Hillary has is blabber and rich donations. It is very sad that so many people have fallen for the argument that Hillary is for any of us. Of course, that's her argument.
Thankfully, there are many who are not that simple.

and yes, votes matter. They lead to more pledged-delegates. Next Tues will make that clearer.

Those under 30 just do not show up to vote. 1 in 5 in 2014, the last off-year election, and 1 in 4 in 2012.
It's a problem - not for Hillary, but for the Party.
