Paul Song's niece is named after Bill Clinton

On June 3, 2010, Ling gave birth to a girl, naming her Li Jefferson Clayton, in Burbank, California. Laura and her husband decided to name the baby Li, after Laura's sister Lisa, and chose Jefferson since it was President Clinton's middle name.

I knew Bill and Hillary Clinton, along with President Obama, brokered Ling's release from North Korea, Bill Clinton actually going there in person and escorting Laura Ling and her CurrentTV colleague home to the US. I also knew Ling had publicly thanked both Clintons and Obama for her freedom, but I didn't know that about her baby. Very interesting and cool!

I don't have an issue with his supporting Bernie Sanders - I really don't - nor do I care if he introduces him at a rally. But the absolute tone deafness in the introduction - similar to Rosario Dawson calling out Dolores Huerta - is baffling. I don't get it.
