Petition: Hillary Clinton: Release the Transcripts of Your Paid Speeches to Wall Street Banks

Wall Street banks have paid Hillary Clinton millions of dollars to give speeches, banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity Investments, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, and others.

At the Democratic Debate in New Hampshire on February 4, 2016, Clinton was asked if she would release the transcripts to her Wall Street speeches. Her response:

"I will look into it. I don’t know the status, but I will certainly look into it."

***The Moderator noted that transcription services had been used for the speeches, meaning the speeches WERE recorded and transcripts DO exist.***

Clinton talks about getting tough with Wall Street banks, and yet she takes hundreds of thousands of dollars from Wall Street to give them speeches.

Would Goldman Sachs really pay Clinton $675,000 to talk about getting tough on Wall Street?

Would Morgan Stanley really give Clinton $225,000 to talk about prosecuting corrupt CEOs?

The American people have already bailed out Wall Street once, the last thing we need is a President who is unwilling or unable to stand up to the powerful financial industry.

THEREFORE, in the interests of transparency and accountability, we call on Hillary Clinton to immediately release the full transcripts of her paid speeches to Wall Street banks from 2013 to 2015. Until she does so, the American people simply cannot trust her word alone that she will get tough with very Banks that have paid her so much money.
