...tonight, he drew what the campaign said was 24,000 people to Washington Square Park. That number was impossible to verify unlike the other locales, where police provided a crowd count but the audience clearly was one of the largest of the year

If you passed the eight grade, you should realize that the point of this op is that big crowds to not necessarily mean that candidate is going to win.
He/she is trying to put down Bernie's rally.
If you want to trade insults I have no problem going there.
