Borough President Adams did not succeed in convincing the Democratic National Convention to move the debate to Brownsville, but you can still watch the debate live in the neighborhood with the Beep himself, as well as state Sen. Jesse Hamilton (DCrown Heights) and Assemblywoman Latrice Walker (DBrownsville). They promise light refreshments and a disc jockey.

Californian-themed bar Pacific Standard has hosted every debate since 2002, and says it hits capacity every time. It only boasts 70 seats 50 of them stadium style and advises people to arrive at least an hour and a half early. Those lucky enough to nab a pew will enjoy an extended happy hour of $1 dollar off $7 drinks.
