Corrupt politicians who sold out for corporate cash caused great economic distress for Americans.

People's lives have been destroyed. People have suffered the loss of life, jobs, & homes due to these immoral acts.

The great recession of 2008 just didn't happen because of mistakes.

Banks and corporations knowingly committed fraudulent acts. Goldman Sachs even admitted to the DOJ that it ripped off it's clients but no one went to jail.

Beyond the great recession 14 major banks are being sued for rigging interest rates. Banks admitted to commiting felonies in another scandal involving rigging the LIBOR interest rates.

Scandal after banking scandal goes unpunished because corrupt politicians allow an environment where criminal activity isn't prosecuted beyond fines and a minor admission of guilt.

Perhaps we'll discuss these underlying issues again someday.

Right now some people seem more content to feign outrage at political correctness rather than the issues that are really causing the problems....
