Making the Democratic Party proud. I long for the days when it was just the goppers discussing mindless petty shit and we took the high road with the issues.
Oh well. Three more months until the Convention.

I can avoid using the word "whore" when describing Hillary's campaign finances.
Here: Hillary has sold her soul to the devil.
There ya go.

(115,735 posts)All this fussing over stupid shit, like what did it really mean when somebody made a speech on behalf of a candidate and said some stupid/tactless/tasteless thing? What it means is that some people are searching desperately, like GOPers poring over the Benghazi files, for something - anything - that will make their candidate's opponent look bad. A guy at a Sanders event said the word "whore!" Oh, no!! Meanwhile, back in the real world, thousands of people still can't get health care, thousands of people are prevented from voting, women's reproductive rights are being eroded, some people can't even use public bathrooms, there's crazy shit going on in Iraq and Syria, the 1% are parking their money offshore to avoid taxes, and the big banks are bleeding us dry.
But, but, but, a guy said "whore!" Also, Bernie won't actually meet the Pope!
Can't we do better than this?

(18,115 posts)he would just be an "also ran" "protest vote" "fringe" candidate. They let him play his little game. What they didn't expect was that he would be a real competitor. Hillary Camp has been worried and after WI they decided to "take off the gloves." Thus, this nonsense from here on out. Forget issues, there will be no more of it.
