Can someone please tell me what a "Whore" has to do with Primaries???

Everyone on this site seems to be going crazy over a phrase and speech that was given by someone who isn't even running for president, so what does his opinion or statement matter? People are trying to throw dirt on Bernie for something that someone else said, like what does that matter at all?

Can we go back to talking about the fact that tonight is the debate that could make or break Sanders, and either keep HRC in the lead, or lead her to the ground? I'm sick of this site being overrun by people upset because someone insignificant said something random and irrelevant to the primaries.

Let's go back to talking about politics and the issues, not whatever dirt people can grab off the ground with their hands to throw on the other candidate.

It will surely get even more ridiculous than this, as the Clinton campaign grows more desperate nt arcane1 Apr 2016 #4

that they think will make their candidate's opponent look bad in some way. So some guy making a speech at a Sanders rally used the forbidden word "whore" in a context having nothing to do with sex workers of either gender, and it became the new DU obsession after they ran out of things to rant about regarding the Vatican visit. Meanwhile, back in the real world, there's all kinds of serious shit going on all over this country and all over the world. But, but, but, a guy said "whore!"

Yes, it's really stupid, but people who have nothing to say about the actual issues will have to fling poo like zoo monkeys because they haven't got anything else.

It seems to me like Clinton supporters can't find anything worth talking about, so as soon as someone around Sanders slips up, they take charge and run with it, no matter how childish. Like seriously, you can't think of anything else to talk about?

I've only been around DU for a little while, does this sort of stuff happen often?

I sure hope that after Tuesday everything goes back to normal. Anything can happen. Hillary's lead is falling, debate is tonight, so who knows what will happen. If she loses NY, it's over, and if Bernie loses NY, it will be a much longer of a fight than we had hoped for.

But I think it's worse than usual this time because Hillary's supporters never expected Bernie to do as well as he's doing. Although she still has the advantage and will probably win eventually, the fact that Bernie draws enormous crowds and raises serious questions about economic justice and the power of corporate money (while Hillary makes millions giving speeches to too-big-to-fail banks) seems to be very upsetting to some of her supporters. Consequently they are looking for any little thing they think might discredit him enough to make him go away and stop delaying the coronation.

Frequency of occurrence has a direct correlation to Camp Weathervane's need for a distraction.

using wh---. Ask the person and the campaign what does making this statement have to do with the primaries.
