How does Bernie woo super delegates after a speaker at his campaign event refers to them as whores?

This is a very interesting situation.

Bernie has been trying to get Democratic super delegates to spurn Hillary and support him:

Paul Song now says he was referring to members of Congress and not Hillary as "corporate Democratic whores".

The problem is that many of those "corporate Democratic whores" are super delegates.

It's going to be harder for Bernie to woo those super delegates IMO.

Reading comprehension appears to be an issue here.

Bernie is the one who's trying to woo Hillary's super delegates.

Without the super delegates, Hillary still has a pledged delegate lead.

At the end of the voting, the candidate with a majority of pledged delegates will be the only one with a legitimate claim to the nomination.

If that turns out to be Sanders, congratulations he's the nominee.

If it's Clinton, she's the nominee.

Super delegates are not going to help Bernie Sanders steal our party's nomination. To even entertain that possibility requires a complete dissociation from reality.

Because you're sort of implicitly admitting that the super delegates are politicians who are taking corporate money and enacting policy accordingly.

That what was meant by the statement, and now here you are saying, "How will corporate whores take this?"

Which is hilarious.

Seriously. Think a post through once in awhile.

Many states have "sore loser" laws where someone who lost the nomination for a party cannot throw a temper tantrum and run as an independent.

They prevent candidates from running in a party primary and then a general as a candidate not from that party.

Too bad for Bernie.
