Sander's staff seems to think that creating fake outrages or, in this case, plastering a bunch of vans with "Black Men for Bernie" will somehow open up the floodgates and make people see the light and vote for Bernie. It doesn't work that way. Bernie had 30+ years to make himself a household name in the black community. He failed. It's too late.

BTW, I have friends who are Bernie supporters--but they're low information and caught in the hype--not to mention, only one of them actually made it to the polls.

To foster discussion... It has, though quite a bit has been gross. They are not part of the campaign, they are a grassroots group and they actually are very good at flipping votes of people they can talk to.
