The hyper charged atmosphere of the debates is really fucked up. They should do like the local ones

In local or statewide races, they usually are in a TV studio or have a small audience, with a non-descript moderator (or at least one who is not a "personality&quot and panel of real live journalists.

No echo chamber sound, fancy graphics, ominous music.

They ask candidates, give them time to answer questions, let the candidates do some job-jabbing, but on a person-to-personal level.
