When your candidate is a political weathervane and her record is not Progressive than you berniepdx420 Apr 2016 #28
Well the continued focus on women's fantasies is a little odd. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #29
effing hilarious that you have no idea my gender, no idea what I think Sheepshank Apr 2016 #64
Oh dear, still at it? It's getting even creepier. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #68
and there you go again, trying psych..poor BMUS, trying so hard to make relevant conversation. Sheepshank Apr 2016 #73
I'm quite fine since I'm not the one who keeps obsessing about rape fantasies and orgasms in GDP. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #75
aww sweetie, the attempts at justification are endearing to some...not me. Sheepshank Apr 2016 #77
Yes, we are well aware of your disturbing focus. And calling me sweetie is extremly creepy. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #78
i call all genders sweetie. your paradigm is pretty narrow Sheepshank Apr 2016 #81
Please don't use sexist terms of endearment to address me, it's creepy. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #83
It gender neutral. Oh you've never done the same? Oh sure you have. Was that creepy too? Sheepshank Apr 2016 #87

So I'm disturbed, creepy, obsessed, disgusting, and now dirty..any more insults you care to hurl? nt Sheepshank Apr 2016 #96
I never called you those things, why do you keep obsessing about this? beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #99
you sure did, and I forgot you also said sexist, all on thread. Sheepshank Apr 2016 #103
I described your behaviour, nice try. And it does speak for itself. Just ew. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #106
don't care how you try and couch it....your bullying methods are apparent Sheepshank Apr 2016 #108
Except you're the one using sexist terms of endearment to dismiss my opinions. Okay, I forgive you. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #112
Sweetie is gender neutral...apparently clarifying for the 5th time may finally sink in Sheepshank Apr 2016 #114
It's okay, you can stop making excuses, I said I forgive you. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #116
I don't care if you forgive me or not...the term is not sexist, as you keep asserting. Sheepshank Apr 2016 #118
I've heard the same thing from men for years, you're still forgiven. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #121
and I've used it toward both genders...so your limited view of the world just got expanded Sheepshank Apr 2016 #123
I've been dismissed by sexist women before as well, you're still forgiven. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #126
forgive all you want.....this is no better than being pissy at me because I used the word sweetie Sheepshank Apr 2016 #133
Now I'm "pissy" for calling out a sexist term? What's next, calling me bitchy and hysterical? beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #136
for the 6th time, sweetie is not sexist, it's gender neutral Sheepshank Apr 2016 #140
That's what the guys always say too, it's okay, you're all forgiven. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #142
I'm just like a guy? are you sure about that? Sheepshank Apr 2016 #156
Who said that? Sounds like something a person who would call a woman 'sweetie' would say. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #158
I already told you to stop mind reading. You're terrible at it. Sheepshank Apr 2016 #170
So no one said that? Good! I was going to lecture that person on the use of demeaning sexist terms. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #171
But here is Bernie's creepy essay Sheepshank Apr 2016 #236
Yikes that obsession of yours is worse than I thought, you don't even understand it was about gender beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #240

They also think that women who fantasize about rape actually want to be raped. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #245
It was an essay about gender stereotypes and shocker: women do fantasize about it. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #17
I don't know of a woman that fantasizes about being gang raped simultaneously by 3 men Sheepshank Apr 2016 #22
I must have missed the part about being "gang" raped, and tell me more about women's fantasies beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #23
of course you missed it, or you have reinterpreted what it means to be raped by 3 men simultaneously Sheepshank Apr 2016 #39
Or you made it up which might have caused you to get another post hidden for using that word. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #42
I made it up? Sheepshank Apr 2016 #46
Yes, you made it up, either you don't understand what was written or you're using it as a smear. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #54
redecorate it any way to you ...being raped by 3 men simultaneously = gang rape Sheepshank Apr 2016 #57

yes, the essay was creepy, and I'll make sure the women in my life see it and judge for themselves Sheepshank Apr 2016 #61
As for me, I feel sorry for women who get slut shamed for their fantasies. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #63

You're the one who keeps bringing it up, why is that? beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #56
Because many deny the essay exists. Repetition and linking...others can make up their own minds Sheepshank Apr 2016 #80
The essay on gender stereotypes definitely exists, intelligent people realize it isn't about rape. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #82
I offer links so people can read the words for themselves Sheepshank Apr 2016 #90

Shaming the man who presumes to describe/define gang rape fantasy to sell papers is fine Sheepshank Apr 2016 #85

Women = plural of woman, do you really believe that they don't have these fantasies? beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #124
see...you were fine asking the first sentence. and I imagine there are a few that do Sheepshank Apr 2016 #132
Well as long as you stop trying to shame us for having a healthy fantasy life you're forgiven. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #134

Bernie said that women fantasize about being gang raped. Shall I attach the article again? Sheepshank Apr 2016 #177
Bernie didn't say that you did. That is sick, you think that women who fantasize want to be raped? beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #178

you are mental health shaming. you should be ashamed Sheepshank Apr 2016 #181
There's no shame, anyone who conflates fantasies with reality should get help. Hopefully they are. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #182

You said it was creepy if tied to rape, otherwise it's simply gender neutral Sheepshank Apr 2016 #209
It's creepy to keep using a sexist term of endearment after a woman asks you to stop. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #212
For the 8th time it's gender neutral and your dramatic insults are pathetic. Sheepshank Apr 2016 #213
It's creepy and offensive to continue after a woman asks you to stop, but I still forgive you. beam me up scottie Apr 2016 #215
Wow....I call kids, men and women sweetie all the time, you are the one being sexist Sheepshank Apr 2016 #218

National Review writer Charles C.W. Cooke, though, dismissed the essay as insignificant:

"Nobody honestly believes that Bernie Sanders is a sexual pervert or that he is a misogynist or that he intends to do women any harm. Nobody suspects that he harbors a secret desire to pass intrusive legislation or to cut gang rapists a break. Really, there is only one reason that anyone would make hay of this story, and that is to damage the man politically."

And if you do know that's not true, why are you conflating the two?

Either way that is sick.

Many of us, however, see that the struggle for civil rights, including for LGBT people, remains a critical issue.

We only have two things to go by in trying to predict how a President Hillary would deal with LGBT civil rights issues: What she says she will do and What she has done in the past.

So what she has previously said and done in regard to gay marriage IS very much a matter of current interest.
