2. Goldman Sachs Employee #1 (present at one of the speeches)
[The speech] was pretty glowing about [Goldman Sachs]. Its so far from what she sounds like as a candidate now. It was like a rah-rah speech. She sounded more like a Goldman Sachs managing director.

(1,134 posts)Whoa, and this was in the New York Times - why in hell would he say that stuff on the record? (not that I mind and not that there's anything wrong with it) She is either ASHAMED or AFRAID of what's in those speeches - and I don't think she's capable of feeling shame.

(3,040 posts)After Bernie showed that going after wall Street polled high, Hillary determined it would be a good idea to say she was always strong on wall street and always told the investment banks to 'cut it out'. But, as indicated by the Goldman Sachs banker above, she praised the bank in her speeches. So she is dragging her feet on releasing them.
What is utterly frightening is that Cruz's wife is on sabbatical from GS, she could easily get a transcript from the speeches and release them if Cruz gets the nomination. In that scenario, Clinton could lose to Cruz...
