Bernie Releases His First Ad in California
The ad, titled $27, is an ode to what Sanders frequently touts as the average donation to his campaign.
I think its the best $27 you could spend, one supporter says, followed by quick videos of other supporters talking about how a donation to the Sanderss campaign can lead to free college, Wall Street reforms and an increase in the minimum wage.
The spot will air in San Francisco Friday evening and in Los Angeles Saturday night, timed to coincide with Clintons high-dollar fundraisers with actor George Clooney in both cities, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Sanders has previously blasted Clinton for her pricey fundraisers, calling them obscene in an interview on CNN last month.
It is obscene that Secretary Clinton keeps going to big money people to fund her campaign, Sanders said on State of the Union in March.
Two seats at the head table with the Clinton and the Clooneys will cost a couple $353,400. Saturdays fundraiser at the Clooney mansion in Los Angeles will cost guests $33,400 a ticket.

There are Bernie bumper stickers all over the place here. Rarely is there one for HRC. And yard signs are proliferating. We got two yesterday!
Bernie's going to do great in California!
