Like Night and Day: Comparing Bernie Sanders' Down-Ballot Fundraising to That of Hillary Clinton

http://www.thepeoplesview.net/main/2016/4/14/like-night-and-day-comparing-bernie-sanders-down-ballot-fundraising-to-that-of-hillary-clinton

Better late than never, I guess?

That seems to be the growing consensus after Bernie Sanders announced yesterday that he would finally(!) begin to support down-ballot Democratic candidates after failing to do so for the previous ten months. Of course, the timing of this decision couldn't have been more obvious: Sanders has recently faced harsh criticism over his appearance with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC where Sanders responded with a noncommittal "We'll see" as to whether or not he would work to help elect fellow down-ballot progressive candidates who could help him enact his political revolution. Combine that with Sanders' monumentally disastrous New York Daily News interview as well as his egregious claim that the Pope invited him to speak at a conference at the Vatican which was later proven to be false and Sanders needed something, anything, to get back on the public's, and more specifically, New Yorkers' good graces.

BS has been an island for too long ... Secretary Clinton is a team player. It takes a village of Democrats.

6. Yeah, the Hillary Victory fund scam raised a ton of money! Oh wait, it all went to her campaign...

Just ask the Alaska Democratic Party - they raised $43,500k for the Victory Fund. How much did they get to keep for down-ballot candidates in Alaska? $0 The entire $43,500k went back up to the DNC to flow back through to Hillary's campaign.

The Victory Fund is just a scam to get around the $2700 campaign donation cap.

By the way, about that visit to the Vatican?

Bernie Sanders meets privately with Pope Francis

ROME — U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders met privately with Pope Francis during his overnight trip here, his spokesman said.

The brief meeting took place at the papal residence early Saturday, according Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs.

"They discussed the issues that the senator raised, that the pope has raised so often, at the conference yesterday," Briggs said, adding that there was no discussion of U.S. politics or Sanders's candidacy.
