This actually is the case for me. You can see it in my posting history here. I'm a NY voter and I registered as a dem (from Independent) last fall intending to vote Bernie in the primary to send a protest vote up, as I am hardly Hillary's biggest fan.

But over the last few months the opposite has happened. And Bernie lost a NY lefty primary vote. And I'm not alone among my colleagues and friends, many of whom live Bernie's stances but find the behavior of his supporters to be pervasively misogynistic and immature, suggesting he can't control them, much like Trump.

Sorry bro. Call me insincere or a dupe of corporate money or whatever, but I'm likely to your left and I am an actual lost Bernie vote due to the stridency and meanness of his campaign and supporters.


Never thought he could win. Still don't. Consider those who say otherwise delusional idealists beating the rest of us with a club of self-righteousness. Wall Street bankers are Americans too. So are conservatives. So are Clinton supporters.

I disagree with it wholeheartedly.
I happen to believe that her campaign is nasty and her supporters act as bad or if not worse than those who back Bernie Sanders.
Have you ever wondered why young Bernie Sanders supporters are acting out?
Could it be that they have never been involved in politics before and don't fully understand how primaries go.
Bernie has tapped into a sector of our voting populace that wouldn't give two shits about voting and politics because the people running all said the same thing at various points in their lives. And then comes Bernie. He had the courage in a national debate to stand up and say that Palestine has value. Who else has the courage to say that. Hillary danced all the way around it.
Kids see that.
These "bros&quot Which is a bullshit label) feel as passionate as you do about Hillary and where you see them "acting out" it is because they are afraid.
They are angry.
They may be new to politics but they aren't stupid.
They see the media pandering one way.
They hear night after night how Bernie "can't win" and should "Drop out".
I think you should consider stepping up on a ladder and taking another look around the room and see it from the other side.
Frustration breeds anger and understanding brings peace.
