I am sooooooooooo impressed with her. WOW.
This woman is SCARY smart. Holy shit. I am so glad she is on OUR side.
I have NEVER seen a Fox host put in his place like this woman does so easily.
She controls the interview. Cavuto tries to every trick a reporter knows to
sidetrack her and throw her off her game but she *DESTROYS* him.
I am humbled by her magnificence. So darned proud of her. Phew!!
Keep an eye on this one. She is definitely GOING PLACES!!!!

(14,656 posts)Creativity and priorities answer didn't make the mark....begging off that it wasn't her job did nothing for her cause either. She's young. Needs to cultivate this national exposure to become a spokesperson who needs to be heard. imho

(46,709 posts)Cavutto was impressed with her. I wouldn't try to reign in someone who is showing far more understanding of the t.v. circuit than people twice her age.

Lone_Wolf
(1,603 posts)Like I said, I thought she was excellent, but she's was talking to Archie Bunker types who don't respond well to rational thought.

(46,709 posts)She chastised Cavutto for planting the idea that she wants to see taxes raised on his viewers, when what she's advocating is going after the billionaires. The ones who are sheltering taxes overseas and the ones that the governments are providing too many tax havens.

(46,709 posts)You need to hear this young woman's closing statements. Very powerful.
Seriously, someone should grant her a scholarship. Was her name Carlotta?

(1,163 posts)Fucking hey yes! They have no reservations about paying for wars, paying for ridiculously high executive pay and benefits by virtue of doing business with ruthless companies and allowing tax loopholes to exist.
Yeah, I think government should pay for fucking education. It's our goddamn money after all.

God I'm impressed with this young Lady. You need to do more research we know where the money is going it is going to tax breaks for the rich. Take that Neil!

(10,622 posts)Be careful what you so condescendingly wish for when feeling sorry for these young people, when they do their research, the are able to see the empress has no pantsuit, and the Republics are naked as hell.
This Generation is producing some very good leaders for their own future.

(166 posts)Somewhere around the 12 minute mark, Neil brings up the fact that she's raising a child, and he says about how hard that is, but never addresses it again. Why the appeal to emotion or was this so that faux news viewers would know that she's a young woman who has a child.
I can't believe that this is what passes for journalism.
She did a great job.

(1,163 posts)Regarding his comment that we should first "look at where our tax money is going" before considering raising taxes on the 0.01%.

What was amazing is how she handled him.
She went fox on fox, but she knew her stuff and kept him to the issue.
I wouldn't want to debate her.

(8,175 posts)Don't we keep hearing that our future IS our youth, and our youth need to be educated to be able to compete in the current global economy and to compete with the global level of education (we are NOT number 1).
Hell yes we want education paid for. What a high school graduation used to be to get a decent job in this country, is now college. And colleges used to be tuition free. Why the hell did we allow colleges to become so expensive our youth can't afford an education without a huge debt that hobbles them and often cripples them. And if we can't give them free tuition, then we should at least give them interest free loans, or at most 1% loans.
Priorities indeed.
