What always disappointed me the most about President Obama was how he never even tried to change the language of politics that had been established in the eight years of the Bush presidency.

From immigration (on which he never articulated a different rhetoric than the punitive law-and-order one put into effect by his predecessor) to civil liberties to war crimes to inequality to health care to race relations to trade, he has kept to the establishment line on all substantive policy issues.

And that’s where Bernie Sanders has succeeded so brilliantly. Sanders has managed to draw level with Hillary Clinton in the national polls, and seriously threatens to upset the carefully balanced apple cart if he can pull out a win in New York. As a result, he has pushed the establishment to acknowledge, at least rhetorically, the grievances of the powerless. That is no mean accomplishment, and he and his supporters should feel proud for having come this far.

It'll be huge if he gets within 10, considering the arcane, stifling election rules and disenfranchising practices there. If it were actually a voter-fair election he'd likely wipe her out again.

has turned on the anti Bernie attacks full force.

Watching Joy Reid without the slightest trace of irony, claim that Bernie was stealing Clinton's campaign plank if he visited NYC public housing. She said this without even mentioning once how far to the left the Sanders campaign had pulled Hillary.

Bernie meets with the Vatican on a conference on how to organize to address economic and environmental injustice .... ways to actually 'get things done' ... Hillary stops in at a public housing area for a photo-op on her way to catch a plane to Hollywood to attend an elite 'super rich only' event and the spin from MSNBC is ... "If Bernie says anything about NYC public housing it will be all fake because Hillary already visited".

The only 'Bernie supporter' she had on her show (an ex Trump 'Apprentice') had a moment of honesty at the end of her appearance and stated before Joy could stop her, that "everyone seems to think I'm a Sanders supporter, I'm still undecided" ... not that anyone would have thought that in the first place as she attacked Bernie with the same old nonsense spin all though two or three segments.

MSNBC has become a complete farce, ironically the only show left with any remnant of impartially left is fucking "Morning Joe"!!??
