2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumEarly voted today for Hillary in College Park Maryland.
Not a huge crowd.. maybe about 50 or so. We got there just as a bus load of elderly folks arrived probably from a nearby nursing home.
Maryland has switched to paper ballots this year. Not sure exactly why but I assume because many dont trust the machines.
The ballots had spots for Hillary and Bernie and some other guy named "Rocky". I have no idea who that is.
The ballot also included sections for delegates by candidate by gender. That was rather curious.
Anyway it was fun and a great experience for my wife who was first time voter since she just became a US citizen last year.
Cheers!

(24,689 posts)Lots of new development and a serious image makeover. The big deal in the future will the Purple line which will connect College Park campus to the DC Metro system.

(3,089 posts)know and have studied the rules well in advance of election day. Great mail voting instructions..at least in Montgomery County. I will be surprised if there is much disorder with Maryland voting. The college students from Maryland will turn out in huge numbers for Bernie but unlike many other students they will be registered legally able to vote with no problem.
