(4,407 posts)Her goals are not what your goals (or my goals) are. How much did she make from the Iraq war? How much do rich people donate to her because of her "decisions"?

(8,217 posts)That's all really.
Perhaps back in the early 90s she took more risks, and was not a reactionary.
At the moment, her grasp on the issues and her positions are a direct reaction to what is the prevailing popular opinion.
Iraq War, went with the popular opinion, and then went again with the popular opinion denouncing it.
LGBT issues, went with the popular opinion at the time, and then when it was safe to support it, was finally a supporter.
She goes with what she thinks is the safe public position at the time, not what is right.
She will get to what is right, if it is the safe and popular opinion.
That does not make her inherently bad. In fact, it makes her effective in the front lines when doing the final negotiations of matters, but not during the initial stages where she needs to push for the best possible outcome.
She's good when the conclusion is already near, but not at the start of the fight, as she will argue for keeping the status quo.
The status quo is not working, and doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a better result is unfortunately a definition of insanity.

(4,229 posts)She's like the big rock star with everybody wanting to get a piece of her. Everybody rushes to her to help to the point it distorts her interaction with the world.
Some want jobs, some just want power, they take care of her so she doesn't have to do anything normal people do, but it also cuts her off from anything not filtered by those people.
So it's hard to get the facts when you got so many people with agendas feeding you THEIR facts.

(2,125 posts)We'd be doing her a big favor saying her judgement is off. She makes no mistakes. Her horrible, depraved decisions that cause harm to many innocents are exactly the things she set out to do. She is not stupid. She is depraved and amoral.
