How does Hillary, who claims she opposed the Vietnam War, support Henry Kissinger?

The people I know who opposed the Vietnam War from that generation, think Henry Kissinger is a war criminal. It makes no sense why Hillary thinks highly of him. Something doesn't add up.

1. Well, she doesn't "support" him and she's said as much. So why make stuff up about her meaning?

Why be deliberately disruptive and post threads with false premises?

Something doesn't add up, all right.

So evidently she likes hanging around with a war criminal.

9. You sure about that? I'll need a link that shows Clinton at "The Kissinger Estate." Bet you don't

She accepts an invitation to vacation with De La Renta, and he does as well.

People with money enjoy putting together salons of smart people of differing views.

I guess you think echo chambers make for swell conversation?

Why are you here, then?

"What Clinton did not mention was that her bond with Kissinger was personal as well as professional, as she and her husband have for years regularly spent their winter holidays with Kissinger and his wife, Nancy, at the beachfront villa of fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, who died in 2014, and his wife, Annette, in the Dominican Republic."

See, that's why SHE was a SECSTATE--and you were not, and will never be.

People we may disagree with on a number of things may have some insight, may have some relationships that are important for the president to understand in order to best protect the United States,

10. I rather doubt Oscar de la Renta required them to share a bed or a bathroom.

Vacationing with him isn't like sharing a tent at Swift's Beach in Wareham, it's closer to stopping by for a weekend country shoot at Downton Abbey.

Bernie Sanders has been a fixture at high-end donor thank you weekends at Martha's Vineyard and Palm Beach for well on a decade, now. Does that mean he's "tainted" too?

If Kissinger had been prosecuted for war crimes, neither of them would come within ten miles of him.

Welcome to politics.

You don't need to be in 100% lockstep agreement with someone in order to support them.
