A small mesh bag filled with the basics: Sharpies, Advil, sunscreen. Converters to charge her BlackBerry and iPad anywhere in the world. Red pepper flakes and a mini bottle of Tabasco Sauce for adding spice to her meals.
Any questions?

Two. Count 'em. Two.
Apparently it's today's false meme.

(146,317 posts)More like "misinformation" voters, I think. I learned about her hot sauce stuff from some thread where Bernie ate some soul food. A quick Google for Hillary soul food took me to a story about her visit to a soul food restaurant and a mention of her habit of carrying hot sauce with her all the time.
That had to have been almost a year ago.
Then, I searched today for Hillary Hot Sauce and found that CN Traveler article from 2012.
Memes are so easily checked these days. Trying to create one can be really embarrassing, it seems.
The Hillar Hotsauce-Gate is Now Closed and Latched.

(11,641 posts)But I'm aware of how the Sanders Cabal operates and clearly it is something they were ready to go nuts over.
MineralMan
(146,317 posts)isn't it? Still a little Tabasco would make that egg on their faces more edible, I'd think.

(765 posts)trend on twitter and photoshopping her with hot sauce. She likes hot sauce, let's get her! I have too much self-respect to act this way. If Bernie liked hot sauce, I wouldn't give a damn, and I wouldn't waste my time photoshopping him into hot sauce pics and trying to pretend he is pandering with his love of it. The silly season is upon us and the 12 year olds are leading the charge against hot sauce.

MineralMan
(146,317 posts)about this. I just thought I'd go do a little meme-busting. Took me three minutes. A pity the memers didn't check it out. Embarrassing, huh?

(8,541 posts)I only say that because I never see her with a purse but it's not like I'm looking that hard either.
I don't think this is a big deal but team Hillary shouldn't be surprised that people are talking about it.
MineralMan
(146,317 posts)Kind of really weak sauce, it seems. Not much flavor to it, and no fire at all.

(146,317 posts)mingling with people, someone else is carrying her purse, don't you? It would get in the way, really, in those situations.

(8,541 posts)I am sure that she must have one tho.

(146,317 posts)Sort of like I do when my wife is shopping for clothes. "Here, honey, hold this for me, OK?"
We were at a funeral for some distant relative of hers, and there was lots of hugging, etc. I ended up carrying my wife's purse and her mother's purse, too, while they were doing all that hugging.
Some guy who is some sort of cousin came up to me and said, "Dude. Black purse and brown shoes? Really?" I almost peed myself I laughed so hard.

(25,816 posts)They're about the size of your little finger (depending on how big your hands are), so one
bottle would only season one or two meals. I prefer Tapatio, it's a bit less vinegary and much
cheaper. When my son was here, he used a regular bottle every week.

(146,317 posts)Something for every taste and tolerance of Scoville ratings.
I have three or four favorites, but am always happy to fall back on Tabasco. Cholula's good too. Typically, most breakfast places have one or both on hand, but you sometimes have to ask. Even places like Denny's have it.
The Waffle House, that mainstay of Southern breakfast dining has it's own brand:
It's not bad, either.

(146,317 posts)It's not a quirk. It's a condiment a lot of people really like. But "wee?" Hmm...freudian slip? Wee = Dinky by some definitions, I guess.

MineralMan

(45,850 posts)it's a little less hot and a bit more vinegary than tabasco and good on anything almost - I like it on plain potato chips and any kind of chicken or pork especially BBQed
MineralMan
(146,317 posts)I don't go for high scoville varieties too much. It's the flavor, not the fire, that I'm looking for. As long as my forehead sweats just a little, I'm good.
I looked it up and it's Louisiana based. I'll see if it's available around here.

MineralMan
(146,317 posts)I'd think. Even a split would take up too much space, especially considering the ice.
Maybe she has someone to carry her Cristal. Who can say?

(24,853 posts)Personally, I couldn't tell Cristal and Dom from Korbel and Cooks.
I paid the equivalent of a car payment for a bottle of Dom in the 80s while visiting Monte Carlo. I was 21. I thought I got ripped off.
