New NY Emerson Poll: Clinton 55, Sanders 40

The last time Emerson polled in early April, it was 56-38. So a slight improvement for Bernie but obviously not great. Don't shoot the messenger!

So it doesn't mean anything unless it's a trend observable over a series of polls.
