(5,562 posts)And too true. I don't even look at those networks anymore. RT is good though, we just found it on our cable hidden way up in the high numbers amongst the Chinese and Indian language channels.

There were, literally, at least three times more CNN reporters and cameramen and crew there than there were protestors, a couple of CNN vans, etc. Back at the hotel, turned the TV to CNN International. CNN had their cameras tightly in on the few demonstrators, and were saying it was a HUGE demonstration. WTF? Turns out that day was a day when the Danes voted on some part of joining the EU.
As it turns out, the Danish people I was working with said well, okay, the EU sounds okay, but we would never let Germany control our money, so no to the Euro. Wise choice.
And I have never believed anything I see on CNN again, at face value. I have to take into consideration what CNN wants perople to think, and their ratings, and their owners.
